🌿 Us and the bees: a family dream taking flight in Sardinia​

Siamo Sara Ruiu e Philipp Scheel – lei logopedista, lui fisioterapista. Dopo oltre dieci anni vissuti a Stoccarda, abbiamo scelto di tornare in Sardegna, la nostra terra del cuore, per costruire una vita più autentica, semplice e in armonia con la natura. Insieme a nostra figlia di tre anni, stiamo coltivando un sogno che profuma di fiori, miele e libertà.

We are Sara Ruiu and Philipp Scheel – she’s a speech therapist, he’s a physiotherapist. After over ten years in Stuttgart, we decided to return to Sardinia, our land of the heart, to build a simpler, more authentic life in harmony with nature. Together with our three-year-old daughter, we are nurturing a dream that smells of flowers, honey, and freedom.

Tutto è cominciato con un corso di apicoltura regalato da Philipp a Sara. Non avremmo mai pensato che da quelle prime arnie potesse nascere una nuova visione di vita: lenta, naturale, radicata nella terra. Oggi, con i nostri primi 3 alveari già attivi, vogliamo fare un passo in più.

It all started with a beekeeping course that Philipp gave to Sara. We never imagined those first hives would spark a whole new way of living – slower, natural, rooted in the land. Today, with our first 3 hives already active, we’re ready to take the next step.

Vogliamo espandere il nostro piccolo apiario familiare portandolo da 3 a 25 arnie.
Con 10.000 € possiamo:

We want to expand our small family apiary from 3 to 25 hives.
With €10,000, we will be able to:

• 🐝 acquistare 22 nuove arnie complete di api e regine / purchase 22 new hives with bees and queens

• 🍯 dotarci di attrezzature professionali per smielatura e confezionamento / buy professional tools for honey extraction and packaging

• 🧴 creare confezioni artigianali e sostenibili / produce eco-friendly, handcrafted jars and labels

• 📚 seguire corsi e ottenere certificazioni sanitarie / attend courses and obtain health certifications

• 🛖 realizzare uno spazio di lavoro all’aperto / build a functional outdoor workspace

• 📦 coprire le spese di logistica e comunicazione della campagna / cover logistics and outreach costs
